There are two ways to search for ads. You can either search by searching the map or by searching via the search form. Initially, when no search criteria are specified, all ads are displayed.

You place an ad by clicking "Advertise" in the menu. Then you choose in which category you want to advertise. Fill out the form and preview your ad by clicking "Preview". When you are happy with your ad and want to publish the ad, click "Advertise". Your ad will then be published once it has been approved. It takes up to 1-3 working days. 

The advertising time on bostad.shop is 60 days. When the ad period has expired, the ad will be removed from the search results but will remain in the "My Ads" tab in "Account". There you have the opportunity to renew the ad. When you renew an ad, it is posted for 60 days and ends up at the top of the search results again.

You have the opportunity to renew your ad even before the ad period has expired if you want the ad to end up at the top of the search results again.

Go to "Advertise".

A "homeless" ad is free. You who are homeless can place an ad and specify the type of help you are seeking. You who are willing to help the homeless can post an ad and indicate the type of help you offer. 

To reduce the risk of misusing the service, we require:
- The homeless person posts a picture of their face in the ad.
- The person who helps a homeless person writes a comment in the ad and states the type of help they have offered the homeless person. 

A "homeless" ad can not be edited or deleted until 30 days after the ad was published.

At bostad.shop you have the opportunity to pay with a debit card and Swish.

In your account settings, which you access by clicking on "Account" in the menu, you will find the tab "My ads". There you will see all your posted ads. You have the option to delete an ad, renew an ad and edit your ad.

An ad can be edited freely within 24 hours of being published. After that, it can only be edited once. This applies to all ads except ads that are placed under the category "Homeless". Ads placed under the "Homeless" category may not be edited or deleted until 30 days have elapsed since the ad was published.

Go to "My Ads".

When you visit an ad, you have the option to save the ad as a favorite. To do this, click on the heart symbol at the bottom of the ad. You can find your saved ads in the account settings in the "Favorites" tab.

NOTE! To be able to mark ads as favorites, you must be logged in.

Go to "Favorites".

You can share an ad by going into the ad and tapping the social media icon you want to share the ad with.
